Dr. Jianhua Zhang

Dr. Zhang obtained her PhD in University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Zhang’s laboratory studies regulation of cell death in health and diseases. Recent focus includes mechanisms and function of autophagy in protein and organelle turnover and quality control, and in modulating cellular response to oxidative stress and affecting neuronal survival.
